About Us
Our Post is based on the belief that our Veterans and their family needs are of the up most importance to us. Our entire POST is committed to meeting those needs.
We would welcome the opportunity to meet you. We meet every month on the 3rd Monday at the Havana Community Center at 6:30p.m.
HISTORY
The Post was charter in 1938 in Quincy,Fl. It was named John H Shaw. It thrived until Sept. 2009 when the charter was turned into the Department of The American Legion of Florida. In January 2010 the Post was revived and was moved to Havana, Fl. The Post started with 10 new members and a number of members from the original rooster. It has since grown to 47 active members in just 12 months and also has organized an Legion Riders Chapter 84 and the
Auxiliary Unit 84.
